In addition, Martha paints vibrant nostalgic urban landscapes of children at play in old Quebec neighbourhoods, as well as the dark interior of bar room scenes.

In the past years, she has participated in numerous group shows, has donated to charities such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters Art Gala, CNIB, Hadassah (Montreal),the West Island Palliative Care (Pointe Claire QC), West Island Association for the Intellectually Handicapped (WIAH) as well as the Ottawa Senators' Foundation

In addition to her prolific painting, she also teaches classes in oils and acrylics and conducts workshops in the Charlevoix region. Art and university groups have invited Martha to lecture and demonstrate her techniques to their groups.

Some of the associations she is affiliated with include CARFAC, Visual Arts Ontario, Lachine Artists Association, Dorval Artists Association and the National Gallery of Canada.

Martha has had more than 20 solo exhibitions, is recipient of numerous awards and commissions from both public institutions and private collectors.
